- Controllare che sulla pompa e sul suo eventuale equipaggiamento supplementare (per esempio serbatoi e tubetti di flussaggio, ecc.) non siano visibili segni di danneggiamento - in caso di danneggiamento avvisare immediatamente la Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers S.r.l. per verificare la funzionalità della pompa. -

2.0 INSTALLAZIONE L’installazione è un’operazione che può risultare difficoltosa; deve, pertanto, essere effettuata da personale competente. ATTENZIONE: durante l’installazione applicare tutte le disposizioni di sicurezza emanate dagli organi competenti del paese d’installazione e dettate dal buon senso. Posizionare l’elettropompa in un luogo asciutto e ben ventilato con temperatura non superiore a +45°C. -

2.1 COLLEGAMENTI ELETTRICI Le elettropompe serie -CP 40G- vengono vendute pronte per essere collegate. È cura dell’installatore, che deve essere qualificato, collegarle in maniera conforme al paese d’installazione. Prima di effettuare i collegamenti, assicurarsi che non vi sia tensione ai capi di linea. -

The use of these machines must be made by qualified and experienced personnel, in full compliance with local legislation. These instructions should be carefully read before installation of any CP 40G series pump. The Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers S.r.l. declines all responsibility in case of accident or damage due to negligence or lack of observance of instructions given in this booklet, or application in conditions not conforming to detail on the motor plate. -

- Check that pump/or accessories such as tanks, piping, valves, etc. are free from visible markings such as dents, scratches and damage which may have occurred during transportation - In the event of damage, report this immediately to the transport company and to Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers S.r.l. customer service department. -
Page 16: Electrical Connections
Pipes: Install the pipes well anchored on their own supports near the inlet and outlet points of the pump to avoid their transmitting any vibration. Ensure the pipes are fully sealed with jointing compound to the pump ports. Install a pipe with diameter same than the pump holes. Pumps are supplied with thread ports, so three pieces pipe union is recommended at suction and delivery ports. - Page 17 3.0 STARTING NEVER RUN PUMP DRY! Check the shaft turns freely (an hexagonal key or a screwdriver should be into the slot of the shaft Fig.2). Fill the body pump through the delivery hole, to prime the pump. This is an important operation that has to be done at first starting and each time the body pump is empty, to avoid damage Fig.1.

Purpose of mechanical seals is to retain handled product inside the pump in the area where the shaft exits the pump casing. To assure maximum reliability and safe operation Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers evaluates seal choices at time of pump selection in connection with customer’s requirements, application and liquid details. -
