1. Emballage et transport
Respecter strictement les symboles et les instruc-

tions indiquées sur l'emballage
Chaque section de tableau (ou groupe de cellules) est embal-
lée selon les exigences d'expédition et de stockage à moins de
demandes particulières du client.
Chaque groupe est protégé par une enveloppe en plastique
afin d'éviter des infiltrations d'eau pendant les phases de
chargement et déchargement, en cas de pluie ainsi que pour
le tenir à l'abri de la poussière pendant le stockage.
Les tableaux sont généralement soulevés de terre moyennant
des supports en bois fixés sous la base aux quatre coins.
En général les tableaux sont expédiés équipés de chariots
(disjoncteurs, transformateurs de mesure) insérés dans leurs
compartiments respectifs sauf dans le cas d'accords différents
pris avec le client. Le véhicule devant servir au transport des
cellules qui forment les groupes doit avoir un plancher de
chargement dont la hauteur ne dépasse pas 1,5 m. de terre pour
pouvoir rentrer dans un gabarit maximal de 4 m.
Le plancher de chargement doit être être anti-dérapante avec
un coefficient de friction élevé.
La disposition des groupes sur le plancher doit se faire en les
disposant dos contre dos transversalement, et en plaçant entre
chaque groupe des matériaux permettant d'absorber les com-
pressions et d'annuler tout éventuel contact entre les surfaces
des différents groupes.
Sur le plancher, il faut également placer des longerons de
manière à éviter que les groupes cognent les uns contre les
autres et empêcher leur déplacement aussi bien longitudinal
que transversal.
Les différents groupes doivent être ancrés à la structure du
véhicule avec des câbles, pour éviter qu'ils subissent des
déformations et empêcher des basculements dans les virages
ou bien en cas d'arrêts brusques.
En outre le véhicule doit être équipé d'une bâche de couverture.
2. Contrôle à la réception
• Durant les opérations de manutention des cellu-

les, veiller à ne pas exercer de contraintes sur les
parties isolantes des appareillages.
• Avant de procéder à toute opération contrôler
toujours si les ressorts de commande sont dé-
chargés et si l'appareillage se trouve en position
d'ouverture.
Les sections de tableau doivent être déchargées du véhicule
avec une extrême attention en suivant les indications du cha-
pitre 4 .
A la réception contrôler l'intégrité de l'emballage, l'état des
appareillages ainsi que la correspondance des données de la
plaque (voir fig. 1) avec celles qui ont été spécifiées dans la
confirmation de commande envoyée par ABB et sur le bulletin
d'accompagnement de transport.
Ouvrir l'emballage en faisant attention à ne pas endommager
le matériel qui le compose et en contrôlant qu'il n'a subi aucun
dommage pendant le transport.
Si lors du contrôle, l'on constate des endommagements ou bien
que les documents d'accompagnement de la fourniture ne
correspondent pas, avertir immédiatement ABB (directement
ou par l'intermédiaire du représentant ou bien du fournisseur)

Each section of the switchboard (or group of units) is packed
according to shipping and storage requirements, except in
cases of specific requests from the customer.
Each group is protected by a plastic cover to prevent any
infiltration of water during the loading and unloading stages in
case of rain, and to keep the dust off during storage.
The switchboards are normally raised off the ground by wooden
supports fixed under the base in the four corners.
The switchboards are generally shipped complete with trucks
(circuit-breakers, instrument transformers) inserted in the rela-
tive compartments, except in the case of different agreements
made with the customer. The truck for transporting the units
which make up the groups must have its loading platform not
more than 1.5 m above ground so as to fall within the maximum
outline of 4 m.
The loading platform must be slip-proof with a high friction
coefficient.
The layout of the groups on the loading platform must be made
by placing them back to back transversely, placing materials to
absorb compression and prevent any direct contact between
the surfaces of the various groups between them.
Special side members must be placed on the loading platform
so that each group is spaced out and to prevent both longitudi-
nal and transverse movement.
The various groups must be anchored to the structure of the
vehicle by ropes, so that no deformation is caused and tilting on
bends or during violent stops is prevented.
The transport truck must have a tarpaulin cover.
2. Checking on receipt
• Take care not to stress the insulating parts of the

apparatus during handling of the cubicles.
• Before carrying out any operation, always check
that the operating mechanism springs are
discharged and that the apparatus is in the open
position.
The sections of switchboard must be unloaded from the truck
with maximum care as described under chapter 4.
On receipt, immediately check that the packing is intact, the state
of the apparatus and correspondence of the nameplate data
(see fig. 1) with what is specified in the order acknowledgement
sent by ABB and in the accompanying delivery note.
Open the packing, taking care not to damage the material and
check that it has not been damaged during transport.
If any damage or non-compliance with the documents accom-
panying the supply is discovered during the check, notify ABB
immediately (directly or through the agent or supplier), as well
as the shipper who delivered the goods.
The apparatus is only supplied with the accessories specified
at the time of order and confirmed in the order acknowledge-
ment sent by ABB.
