  • Page 2 Meter Assembly Instructions This guide is designed to assist you in the assembly of the Master Meter Multi-jet (BLMJ) meter used in the 2018/2019 Meter Madness Regional and National competitions. These steps do not have to be followed in this precise order for the competition. Use any tactical advantage you find, within the rules, to decrease your assembly time and increase your chances of winning the competition.

  • Page 4 Insert the Regulator into the Chamber. Note: The Regulator has a direction arrow and screw slow, as shown in this image. The direction that the arrow points is not important for the competition. Just be sure this part faces up when inserting into the chamber.
  • Page 5 Insert the Chamber into Strainer. NOTE: The strainer/chamber O-Ring is not needed for competition. If you receive this gasket with your meter, you may discard the gasket. Insert the Chamber and Strainer into the Meter Body. Be sure to line up the regulator with the hole in the meter body.
  • Page 6 Install Sealing Plate and Sealing Plate O-Ring. If Sealing Plate is installed upside down, the O-Ring will not line up. Pay attention to install in the correct direction with the groove pointing out. Groove for sealing plate O-Ring Place Bottom Plate onto meter body and secure in place with the supplied bolts. Tighten with a ½” wrench.
  • Page 7 9) Turn meter over and place register on bayonet at an approximate 45° angle as shown in the image on the left. Secure register in place by turning clockwise as shown in the image on the right. Note: The meter will be shipped with a locking pin for the register.
