Per ogni uscita è disponibile un'attenuatore di
volume elettronico impostabile liberamente
dall'utente. Tramite il display frontale, è possibile
impostare molti parametri, tra cui la modalità di
funzionamento, l'indirizzo seriale del dispositivo,
la programmazione degli ingressi digitali e la
gestione dei 48 livelli d'attenuazione disponibili.
Un'altra caratteristica del PM2024-B è la
possibilità di regolare in modo remoto
l'attenuazione delle zone attraverso la scheda
AC2024 (per i collegamenti di questa scheda,
si rimanda al relativo foglio istruzioni). Il numero
massimo di moduli PM2024-B inseribili in un
sistema è 6.
2. CONNESSIONI
2.1 Esempi di collegamento
Il modulo PM2024-B può essere impiegato sia
nei sistemi "classici" che nei sistemi d'evacuazione
"VES": in entrambi i casi, esso riceve i segnali
dalle sorgenti musicali e dalle consoles ed in base
alle richieste di attivazione impostate ne effettua
l'instradamento in uscita. Nelle figure di seguito
illustriamo vari tipi di collegamento; per la
selezione della modalità di funzionamento,
riferirsi a quanto riportato nel par. 3.1.

An electronic volume attenuator that can be set
freely by the user is available for each output.
Many parameters can be set via the front panel,
including the operating mode, the serial address
of the device, programming of the digital inputs
and management of the 48 available attenuation
levels. Another feature of the PM2024-B is
that it is possible to adjust the attenuation levels
of the zones from a remote location by means
of an AC2024 card (for the connections to this
card, refer to its instruction sheet). A maximum
of six PM2024-modules can be included in a single
system.
2. CONNECTIONS
2.1 Examples of connections
The PM2024-B module can be used both in
"traditional" systems and in "VES" evacuation
systems. In both cases, it receives the signals
from the music sources and from the consoles
and routes them to the outputs on the basis of
the activation requirements that have been set.
The following figures illustrate several types of
connection. When selecting the operating mode,
refer to the indications contained in point 3.1.
