Extracting fluids
WARNING
Hazardous dust
Damage to the respiratory passage
► Hazardous dust must never be taken in
during wet extraction.
Before the absorption of liquids remove the fil­
ter bag or safety filter bag (see Chapter
7.8
). The use of a special wet filter is recom­
mended.
The dust extractor stops automatically when
the maximum level is reached.
CAUTION
Escaping foam and fluids
► Switch off the machine immediately and
empty the dirt trap.

The antistatic system
Friction inside the extraction hose causes static
electricity to develop during extraction. Operat­
ing personnel may receive unpleasant electric
shocks while working. The mobile dust extrac­
tor is fitted with an antistatic system as stand­
ard to discharge any static electricity that may
develop. However, always use the enclosed an­
tistatic extraction hose.

After finishing work
Pull the plug from the socket when the
machine is not in use and prior to main­
tenance and cleaning work.
► Switch off the mobile dust extractor and
pull out the mains plug.
► Wind up the mains power cable.
► Empty the dirt trap.
► Close off the extractor opening [1-2] using
the sealing plug [1-1].

► Wipe down the mobile dust extractor and
clean all accessories thoroughly using the
extractor (inside and out) before removing
from the working area.
► Parts that you were not able to clean thor­
oughly must be sealed in an airtight plastic
bag prior to transportation.
► Wear a dust mask!

► Place the mobile dust extractor in a dry
room inaccessible to unauthorised users.

Only transport the appliance with closed

Service and maintenance

Risk of injury, electric shock
► Always pull the mains plug from the socket
before performing any servicing and main­
tenance work.
► All maintenance and repair work which re­
quires the motor housing to be opened
should always be carried out by an author­
ised service workshop.

Damaged safety devices and components must
be properly repaired or replaced in a recog­
nised specialist workshop, unless otherwise in­
dicated in the operating manual.
Observe the following information:
Dust-related inspection (e.g. for filter dam­
age, tightness of the machine and function
of the control devices) by the manufacturer
or an instructed person at least once a
year.
In addition, the effectiveness of the ma­
chine's filter should be tested at least an­
nually or more frequently, as may be stipu­
lated in national regulations. The test pro­
cedure that can be used to test the ma­
chine's effectiveness is specified in EN
