Not every signal necessarily indicates permanent damage. Therefore, the limit value for the
main alarm should be set so that not every slight rise in the level causes a signal - the pre-
alarm can be used for this purpose if necessary.
Use of the response time
Time that has to pass before the value exceeding or falling below the limits causes an alarm
to be output or an alarm to be reset. For the reasons cited above, the response time can be
used to optimize the signaling performance of the diagnostic unit.
Note
The response time setting applies to all channels for incoming and outgoing signals.

Commissioning after repairs

If repairs have been carried out on damaged pump valves, the timers may need to be reset
in the trace menu. To do this, execute the "Reset All" menu item.
