Connecting the passive closing contact
Note
Polarity
A closing contact connects the 8.2 V signal to the digital input. A particular polarity is not
necessary.
Connect your signal in accordance with the following table:

Be careful that the closing contact is separated correctly from current circuits that are not
intrinsically safe.
