Adjustment procedures
1. Close looper cover ❷ , loosen setscrew ❸ , and move looper
cover guide plate ❹ back and forth until the looper cover ❷ is
brought to a position where the cover smoothly closes.
2. Move looper cover guide plate ❹ until it slightly comes in contact
with looper cover receiving bracket ❺ . Now, fix the guide plate
by tightening setscrew ❸ .
Adjustment procedures
1. Loosen the setscrew ❼ .
2. Turn the stopper screw ❻ to adjust a longitudinal direction play of
the looper cover ❷ .
3. Tighten the setscrew ❼ .
4. Loosen the setscrews ❺ of the cloth chip cover, and adjust the
longitudinal position of the cloth chip cover ❸ .
5. Finally, confirm that the cloth chip cover ❸ comes in contact with
neither the upper knife ❶ nor the lower looper ❹ .
