Adjustment procedures
1. Loosen differential feed adjusting nut ❷ . Move differential feed
adjusting lever ❶ upward to perform stretching sewing, or down-
ward to perform shirring.
2. When you want to move the lever ❶ only slightly, use differential
feed minute-adjust screw ❸ .
3. After the adjustment, securely tighten differential feed adjusting
nut ❷ .
[Supplementary explanation]
1) Remove the adjustment hole lid on the rear of the frame, loosen
differential feed adjusting nut ❷ .
2) Move differential feed adjusting lever ❶ up or down to adjust the
differential feed ratio.
3) Adjust the distance between the main feed pin ❹ and the feed
shaft ❺ to 19.6 mm (60H : 21.5 mm).
4) When adjusting the maximum stretching, adjust main feed pin ❹
(differential feed adjusting lever ❶ ) to the highest position.
5) When adjusting the maximum gathering, adjust main feed pin ❹
(differential feed adjusting lever ❶ ) to the lowest position.
6) After performing adjustment, tighten differential feed adjusting nut
❷ , and install the adjustment hole lid.
Adjustment procedures
1. Remove the adjustment hole lid on the rear of the frame, loosen
clamping screw ❶ of main feed bracket.
2. Adjust the clearance provided between the rear end of the feed
dog and the slot of the throat plate to approximately 0.5 mm.
Then tighten clamping screw ❶ of main feed bracket.
