(1) Before cleaning the LED head, touch one of the metal parts of the head to discharge static
electricity.
Note: To prevent any possible breakdown of the printer, be sure to discharge static electricity before
cleaning the LED head.
(2) Wipe the whole LED head gently with a soft tissue or cloth.
Note: Do not use solvents such as methyl alcohol or thinner because they will damage the LED
head.
