OSD Language
Here you select the OSD language.
Captions (comments)
Some DVDs contain closed captions, such as for hearing impaired
persons.
■
On:
Closed captions are displayed.
■
Off:
Closed captions are not displayed.
Screen Saver
The unit can display a freeze frame without a time limit. This can cause
damage to the screen. Activate the screen saver to protect the screen.
Select between the following options:

On:
Screen saver is activated (default).
■
Off:
Screen saver is deactivated.
Last Memory
This function activates the memory function of the DVD player.
■
On:
When the device is switched off during playback, or the DVD
is changed, the device saves the position at which playback was
interrupted.
■
Off:
Playback begins again at the start of the medium.
NOTE:
This function is not supported by all DVDs.
Speaker Setup
Downmix
Modifies the characteristic of the speaker output:
■
L/R:
Select this setting i to play the DVD in Pro Logic Dolby Stereo
Efect. Plays a realistic 2-channel stereo efect.
■
Stereo:
Select this setting if you wish to play a DVD recorded in 5.1-
audio-format in 2-channell-stereo sound.
