    Introduction to the Unit Instrument Labels Overview The following labels should be applied to the outside of the enclosure. The Air Sentinel III is a purge controller that can be used to provide protection for electrical equipment operating in potentially hazardous areas.

    Installation and Commissioning Mechanical Mounting Air Supply The Air Sentinel III is mounted to an enclosure using the 10,1/4”- This instrument requires water free and oil free air, Dry Air, Particles <5u, 20 studs. The recommended hardware is a 1/4” flat washer and ISA Grade Hydrocarbon Free.

    Operation Maintenance Bypass Operation The Air Sentinel III purge controller is mounted on the side of the main enclosure. This controller will ensure proper safe operation of DANGER the attached equipment. If all of the required conditions are met, the controller will act as a power governor.

  • Page 7: Warranty

    Warranty HF scientific, LLC (the “Company”) warrants each product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage for a period of two (2) years from first use or three (3) years from date of invoice, whichever occurs first. In the event of such defects within the warranty period, the Company will, at its option, replace or recondition the product without charge.
