The following documentation will provide instructions for configuring Ingenico 3070 Pinpad with CRE/RPE, using a USB connection. Note: To use Ingenico 3070 Pinpad you must be using version 12.0 or above. Note: The pinpad MUST have the RBA application (version 2.4.0.4) running.

Configuring the 3070 for a USB Connection 1. Reboot the i3070 by unplugging and then re-plugging in the connector. 2. Hold down the Clear key (yellow button) while the unit reboots. You'll be presented with the SSA System Menu. 3. Scroll down using the arrow key (CHQ or SAV/EP) and select Extended Menu. Press Enter.

Installing the USB Driver Note: You can download the USB cable driver for Windows XP from: http://download2.pcamerica.com/drivers/Pinpad/Ingenico/3070_USB_XP.zip Note: You can download the USB cable driver for Windows Vista from: http://download2.pcamerica.com/drivers/Pinpad/Ingenico/3070_USB_Vista.zip 1. After the files have been extracted, run the Installer.

Determining which COM port is being used by the USB cable Even when the USB cable is used, the computer thinks the 3070 is connected to a COM port. To find out which COM port the computer has assigned to the 3070, follow these steps.

Setting up CRE/RPE for the Ingenico 3070 Pinpad In order for the Ingenico 3070 pinpad to be setup correctly, a payment processor must be setup in the Setup Screen. 1. Open CRE/RPE. 2. Select the Manager or Options button. 3. Enter the administrator password (default: admin) where applicable.

Initialize PinPad for Use with CRE/RPE 1. We will then want to open CRE/RPE after logging in, the screen Please slide card should be displayed on the pinpad (pictured left). 2. At this point in the installation you should login and perform a test transaction to verify that you are able accept credit cards and debit cards using the processor you selected.
