- Page 7 SIGNAL SEARCH (5A) Walk the search strip width in the search area quickly. The recommended search strip width for the BLACK DIAMOND RECON LT is 50 m. The display shows “no signal” (5A1). COARSE SEARCH (5B) As soon as the signal is received, follow the direction indication quickly and see if the distance reading goes down.
