Mounting

Warning
When operating electrical devices, certain parts of these devices are
subject to dangerous voltages. Therefore, noncompliance with the safe-
ty notices may cause severe bodily injury or property damage.
Only adequately qualified personnel may mount and connect the de-
vice.
In particular, all warnings must be strictly observed.
Mounting
The unit should be mounted at a location that is free of vibrations. The admissible ambient
temperature (recommended or permissible operating temperature) may not be exceeded
(see Technical Data).
Operation of the unit outside the permissible operating temperature range may lead to
malfunctions and failure of the unit.
The SIMEAS-Hub can be snapped onto a 35 mm DIN rail (DIN EN 50022).
Connection
The electrical installation has to be carried out in conformity with the regulations for the
erection of electrical power installations.
Only FO cable assemblies of the specified types may be used.
