MAINTENANCE

Cleaning: Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the air conditioning unit and
disconnect the power cable plug from the electrical socket.
1. A/C unit surface
Clean with a damp soft cloth. Do not use chemical agents such as benzene, alcohol,
petrol, etc., otherwise the surface or the entire air-conditioning unit may be damaged.
2. Cleaning the strainer
If the strainer becomes clogged with dust the efficiency of the air conditioning unit will be
reduced. Therefore, clean the strainer at least every two weeks.
3. Cleaning the top strainer holder
1) Using a screwdriver, remove one screw fixing the EVA filter strainer and the rear cover;
remove the EVA filter strainer.
2) Wash the EVA filter in a lukewarm water solution (approximately 40°C/104°F) with a
neutral cleaning agent, rinse it clean and allow to dry in the shade.

STORAGE

1. Unscrew the cap of the drain hole, remove the plug and drain the water from the tank
into a prepared container, or tilt the air conditioning unit and drain the water directly to
the storage container.
2. Switch on the air conditioning unit, switch the fan into the low-speed mode and let the
unit run in this mode until the drain hoses dry out. This will ensure drying of the inside
of the air conditioning unit to prevent mould formation.
3. Switch off the air conditioning unit, disconnect the power cable plug from the mains
socket, wrap the power cable onto the cable holder, replace the plug and mount the cap
onto the drain hole.
4. Remove the outlet piping and store it in a safe place.
