We recommend that you take the necessary time to read this manual and understand all the equipment operating functions. Use this equipment only for private use and for the specified purposes.

    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the possible hazards.

Storage of unpacked (unsold) equipment: The protective packaging for the storage of the equipment must be designed to prevent the coolant leakage if the equipment is mechanically damaged inside the packaging.   • Page 9 • Standby mode (sleep): To switch the air-conditioning unit to the standby mode, push the arrow up button in the cooling mode simultaneously with the fan button until the air-conditioning unit enters the energy-saving and silent mode. After activation of this mode with the air conditioning unit ON and with the Cooling function set up, the pre-set temperature in the room is increased by 1°C after the first hour, then again by 1°C after the next hour, and then the temperature is stabilised at this level.

    3.2. Overflow protection control: When the water level in the water reservoir exceeds an alarm level, the air conditioning unit gives an acoustic warning signal and the ‘WATER FULL’ indicator starts flashing. In this case, connect the drain hose to the outlet of the air- conditioning unit, put the other end into the waste or a collection container and drain water from the air-conditioning unit (see the Drainage instructions).
  • Page 11 Installation of the window sealing plate assembly parts 1) Partly open the window and fit the window sealing plate assembly into the window (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 3). The plate parts can be placed both in horizontal and vertical positions. 2) Spread the parts of the window sealing plate assembly and adjust the hole distance so that both ends of the plate assembly are in contact with the window frame and attach the assembly parts to the window.

    Fig. 5 Fig. 6 Important: The length of the outlet piping must be in the range of 280 – 1,500 mm. This length depends on the specification of the air-conditioning unit. Do not use extension pipes or replace original pipes with other ones. This might result in incorrect functioning of the air conditioning unit.
  • Page 13 Notes: 1) Handle the cap and plug with care. 2) When draining water, the air conditioning unit may be tilted slightly backwards. 3) If it is obvious that the container does not take the entire volume of water from the tank, close the drainage hole with a plug to avoid water spilling on the floor or the carpet.

    MAINTENANCE Cleaning: Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the air conditioning unit and disconnect the power cable plug from the electrical socket. 1. A/C unit surface Clean with a damp soft cloth. Do not use chemical agents such as benzene, alcohol, petrol, etc., otherwise the surface or the entire air-conditioning unit may be damaged.

    5. Cover the air-conditioning unit with a plastic packaging, place it in a dry place out of reach of children and protect against dust. 6. Remove the batteries from the remote controller and place them in a safe place. Note: Ensure correct storage of the air conditioning unit and all its components in a dry and safe place.

    EQUIPMENT DISPOSAL Do not dispose of electrical tools into municipal waste! In compliance with European Directive No.: 2012/19/EU, electrical tools must be collected separately and submitted for ecological recycling. Information on the possibilities of disposal of the used equipment can be obtained from the municipal or city administration at your place of residence.
