12. Troubleshooting

The table below contains a list of fault symptoms and explains what you can do to remedy the problem if your equipment
fails to work properly. If the problem still persists after working through the list, please contact your nearest service work-
shop.
Fault Possible cause
Motor won't start • No mains power (power failure)
• Connection lead defect
• Motor or switch defect
Material is not sucked in • Machine is clogged or blocked
• Bag too full

Remedy
• Check fuse (10 A)
• Replace lead or have lead checked (electrician).
Never use defect lead
• Contact the service centre
• Eliminate the blocking, call the service if required
• Empty bag
• Adjust to higher speed
• Extension cable at least 1,5 mm
long. Cross- section of at least 2,5 mm 2 in longer
cables.
