Water Filtration System

Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or
of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before
or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction
may be used on disinfected waters that may contain
filterable cysts.
Replace and Install the Water Filter
The water filter should be replaced every 6 months based on
a flow rate of 0.50 gpm-0.60 gpm (1.89 lpm-2.27 lpm) that filters
200 gallons (757 L) of water.

1. Push the water filter door to open, located bottom left of
refrigerator compartment.
2. Twist the water filter and turn 90° counterclockwise to unlock.
3. Pull the filter out of the housing.
Remove the water filter cap from the water filter being replaced.

4. Install the water filter cap onto the new filter. Be sure to align
the arrows so the groves in filter align with ribs in filter cap.
5. Insert the filter into the housing.
6. Twist the water filter and turn 90° clockwise until it locks into
place and the arrows are aligned.
7. Push the water filter door closed.
8. Reset the filter counter via user interface. See the procedure
to reset the filter in the User Control section.
