Connection Status
Refrigerator is not connected.
Refrigerator is attempting to connect to home Wi-Fi router.
Refrigerator connected to home Wi-Fi router and is attempting to
connect to Whirlpool Cloud.
Refrigerator is connected to home Wi-Fi router, but not connected to the
Whirlpool cloud.
Whirlpool
app does not work.

Refrigerator is connected to home Wi-Fi router and the Wi-Fi icon is ON.

The refrigerator may be in Standby
mode.
The refrigerator has never been
connected to the home Wi-Fi router.
Lost connection to home Wi-Fi router .
Weak signal strength or signal
interference between the refrigerator and
router.
The refrigerator is already connected to
another WiFi Router.
Something may be wrong with the
refrigerator.
Connection to the Whirlpool
be unavailable.
User account has not been properly
set up or the refrigerator has not been
registered in an account.
Router is not connected to Internet.
Wi-Fi disconnected.
Control Panel Indicator Lights
Wi-Fi White icons are both OFF.
Wi-Fi White icon is blinking fast.
Wi-Fi White icon is blinking slowly.
Wi-Fi Orange icon is ON.
Wi-Fi White icon is blinking slowly.
Wi-Fi Orange icon is ON.
Wi-Fi White icon is ON.
Wi-Fi White icon is ON and flashing continuously while
software updates.
Solution
Touch and hold Connect button together for
3 seconds to see the Wi-Fi icon blinking, then
lights are ON solid. All indicator lights are OFF
when in Standby mode.

Check whether the router is ON and working
with other computers or devices in the home
(able to access the Internet).
Try to place the wireless router closer to the
refrigerator. It may be necessary to install a
Wi-Fi range extender.
See the "Connectivity Setup" section to
disconnect the Refrigerator from the Wifi
router and try reconnecting again.
Unplug or disconnect refrigerator power for
30 seconds. Return power. Repeat Wi-Fi
connecting process.
Verify that the refrigerator operates correctly,
except for not being able to connect. Call for
possible additional troubleshooting.
