 Overload protection
Hoists with overload protection protect the hoist by a slipping clutch from damage by overload. When the
slipping clutch operates, lifting of the load is stopped. Lifting is only possible again after the load has been
lowered and reduced to nominal load.

Closes the brake for unintentional or
unforseeable opening of the load pressure

When the locking mechanism is activated, the hoist must no longer be operated. It must be overhauled by a

 Chain guide device to feed in the chain
The chain is feeded into the hoist correcty even
for overhead work. Twisted chains are
aligned before they run into the hoist on the
chain sprocket wheel.
