PROBLEM

CAUSE
No electrical
power
to Electric
Metal Shears
Undersized or
too long of an
extension cord
Blades may
be loose
Blades may be
chipped
or broken
Excessive
pressure being
applied to
Electric Metal
Shears
Dirt and debris
buildup in
motor cooling
air slots
CORRECTION
Check 120 VAC input plug connection.
Check for tripped circuit breaker.
Use only 16 gauge or larger cord.
Limit length to 25'.
Unplug unit and tighten the Cutting Head Screws.
Unplug unit and replace Blades per procedure
described in these instructions.
Allow Shears blades to cut by reciprocation alone.
Do Not Force.
Use a brush or compressed air to remove debris.
