7 Appendix
Regarding the graphic user interface there is no differences between the JET3up
and the printers of the RAPID series. The difference occur with the available type
of inks and print modes.
The main difference regarding the service work are the adjustments of the
Printhead and the ink jet.
The following chapters are extracts from the manual that comes together with
each printer. Please see the manual for more detailed information.

Ink selection

Ink selection (Rapid Universal, Highspeed and Wire):
The selection of the available inks depends on the RAPID type and the nozzle size.
There are only specific ink types tested and approved for the RAPID printer.
When you select an unapproved ink in the hydraulic menu, there will be no default settings
displayed.
Using an ink that is not approved for high-speed printing may result in printouts of
dissatisfying quality!
Additionally, an ink that is not approved may cause serious issues through ink
contaminations of the print head!
