Interrupts

The I/O module supports diagnostic and hardware interrupts.
Diagnostics interrupts
The module generates a diagnostic interrupt at the following events:
• Short-circuit (current: sensor supply; voltage: 1 to 5 V, encoder supply)
• Wire break (current: 4 to 20 mA)
• High limit violated
• Low limit violated
• Error
• Parameter assignment error
• Hardware interrupt lost
• Supply voltage missing
• Channel temporarily unavailable
Hardware interrupts
The module generates a hardware interrupt at the following events:
• Violation of low limit 1
• Violation of high limit 1
• Violation of low limit 2
• Violation of high limit 2
