14.2 Side Door Discharge (All Models)

On A50 and A100 self-propelled, A50 and A100 stationary, and A50 trailer models the standard
side discharge door is controlled manually. On A50 skid steer, A50 and A100 truck mounted,
A100 trailer, and A100 self-propelled additional side discharge door (optional) models the door is
powered by a cylinder and controlled remotely by a switch.
On all models, the door can be raised to many possible positions. The most suitable door
opening height should be determined by taking into consideration the feed composition and the
ground speed of the machine when unloading.
On CE models, safety switches work in conjunction to prevent the unloading door(s) from being
opened when the auger(s) is/are rotating and the operator is not safely away from the unloading
door(s) (refer to section '10.0 Machine Components' for switch locations). For the auger(s) to
continue rotating with the door(s) open, the operator must depress the foot safety switch which is
on the operator's platform.

14.3 Speed/Direction Control Pedal (A50 and A100 Self-Propelled Models)

The A50 and A100 self-propelled models have the ability to be driven by the operator. Speed
and direction (forward/reverse) are controlled by a foot pedal on the operator's platform. Forward
and reverse are indicated on the platform. The further the pedal is depressed either way, the
faster the mixer will travel. When the pedal is released, the mixer will stop traveling.
