  • Page 10: Maintenance And Repair Safety

AAA-055-00243 R1 Stay away from overhead power lines when loading. Electrocution can occur without contact. Clean reflectors, lights, SMV signs, before transporting. Use hazard flashers on towing vehicle when transporting. Follow all local laws and regulations when transporting the machine on public roads and highways. Before applying pressure to the hydraulic system, make sure all components are tight and that hoses and couplings are in good condition.
  • Page 11: Tire Safety

AAA-055-00243 R1 Relieve pressure before working on hydraulic systems. Do not attempt any makeshift repairs to the hydraulic fittings or hoses. The hydraulic system operates under extremely high pressure. Such repairs will fail suddenly and create a hazardous and unsafe condition. Wear proper hand and eye protection when searching for a high-pressure hydraulic leak.

AAA-055-00243 R1 FIELD OPERATION 16.1 General Improper dump wagon loading causes many accidents and deaths. To safely load a dump wagon you must consider the overall load weight, the load weight distribution and the proper tongue weight. Always load the dump wagon as evenly as possible. Distribute the weight of the load over the axles so that the wagon applies roughly 10% of the total weight to the towing vehicle.
  • Page 22: Unloading Procedure

AAA-055-00243 R1 16.3 Unloading Procedure Follow these guidelines when unloading the machine: 1. Transport the machine to the unloading area. 2.
