SecoVac 3.3kV-27kV Embedded Pole Vacuum Circuit Breaker
When energy is charged manually, the operator charges
the spring by operating the energy-charging handle on the
mechanism up and down repeatedly.
When the charging operation is completed, you can hear a 'click',
and the energy charging indicator (13) is switched over, as well as
the status of position switch (6), cutting the secondary charging
circuit supply to motor. The operating mechanism now is ready
for the next operation. (Figure 3)

Closing operation

When the closing circuit is powered, the closing coil is energized
and the holder (4) will rotate counter clockwise to break away

force from closing spring (17), will rotate clockwise,
to push the roller on the main shaft, which will move the main
shaft (10) in counter clockwise rotation. The main shaft moves the
connecting rod down through arm, so that the insulating rod (2)

at the required speed, and compressing the contact spring and
making it a necessary contact travel (overtravel) to ensure the

$IWHU WKH FORVHG RSHUDWLRQ LV ¿QLVKHG WKH FORVHGRSHQLQJ LQGLFDWRU
(9) will indicate 'closed'. The power to the closing circuit will be cut

Note: Once the circuit breaker is in closed position, the closing operation
will be prohibited.

Tripping operation

When the breaker receives an opening command (the opening
push button is pressed or the tripping coil (16) is energized), the
tripping shaft will rotate clockwise. Under the action of opening
spring (3) and contact-compressing spring, main shaft will move
clockwise, and the insulating rod (2) will make the movable

$IWHU WKH WULSSLQJ RSHUDWLRQ LV ¿QLVKHG WKH FORVLQJRSHQLQJ
indicator (9) will indicate 'open'. Meanwhile, the counter will record
the operation.

Anti-Pump

$QWLSXPSLQJ IXQFWLRQ LV ¿WWHG ZLWK 6HFR9DF WR SUHYHQW UHSHDWHG
sequences of opening and closing operations. Once the circuit
breaker is in closed position, the closing operation will be
prohibited.

Reclosing

When the circuit breaker is closed, the mechanism can be
charged for close, so that the circuit breaker can reclose
immediately after tripping.
