Cleaning & care
Practical hints
D Do not apply aggressive cleaning agents to the operation panel or rotary switch
D Do not clean or hose down the unit with a water hose or high pressure cleaner or steam
cleaner or similar.
D Refer to information provided by the manufacturer of the cleaning agent.
D Do not use abrasive agents or sharp edged scrapes to prevent scratches.
D Stainless steel surfaces must not be in contact with acids / concentrated vinegar / saline
solutions of household salt / mustard / spices for extended periods of time as these attack
the protective top layer. Rinse stainless steel surfaces after use and wipe dry.
Cleaning agents & care products
You can obtain suitable substances from your customer service, such as:
− fat dissolving agents and special cleaners for stainless steel appliances
− preserving care products for stainless steel.

Cleaning of heated hobs

. Switch off unit to let it cool down.
. Remove dried food leftovers with a scraper.
D Note please: make sure not to scratch the surface.
. Remove dark spots on the surface with vinegar and a sponge.
. Rinse cleaned parts with water and dry the surfaces with a soft cloth.
. Spray grill- and cooking surfaces with a food-safe cleaning product.
Spread the emulsion evenly using a kitchen rag.

Cleaning of Stainless steel surfaces

. Following the application of aggressive cleaning agents, rinse cleaned parts thoroughly with
water
. Clean stainless steel surfaces with a fat-dissolving agent or use a special stainless-steel
cleaning-agent
. Dry cleaned parts and surfaces with a soft rag.
