Clear-Com Intercom Systems Introduction Thank you for choosing this Clear-Com Product. The RS-600 Series is the most advanced party line beltpack available. Quick Start Your Clear-Com beltpack is ready to plug in right out of the box. Connect appropriate 3-pin XLR line cables from an active intercom line to the beltpack. If the beltpack is receiving the required DC power, the Power LED will light up.

AUX Headset ( 11 ) The AUX headset connector is designed to be used with the Clear-Com CC-25 Ultra-Light headset. The gain of the mic preamp is matched specifically to the CC-25’s mic. While the circuit will accommodate certain types of mobile phone style headsets that fit its 2.5mm jack, use of these headsets will degrade system performance with less audio...

Setup Your RS-600 Series beltpack can be changed from the factory default settings in one of two ways: with a PC or on the beltpack itself. Different Setups can be stored in the beltpack’s on-board memory. Setup from a PC is better if you need access to the full range of available feature options or if you are setting up multiple beltpacks.

It is recommended that the Talk button be set for non-latching operation. This function is useful when operating call signal/relay based components such as Clear-Com TW-40 and Clear-Com KB-212. Electret Mic-Function #5 Enables operation with electret mic equipped headset in main headset jack.

Clear-Com Intercom Systems Audible Call Signal-Function #6 Enables an audible call signal (alternating pitch for 2 seconds) to sound in the headset. The tone’s level is preset. (Volume may vary slightly, depending on headset.) Useful for unspoken cues where visual call signal is not practical or effective.

Clear-Com Intercom Systems Problem: Mic level too low or high Cause: Mic distance from mouth too far or too close; mic gain set incorrectly; sidetone set incorrectly; none or more than one termination. Solution: Reposition mic and/or change headset mic gain.
