Operating conditions

While operating the machine on hilly or sloping ground extra precautions must by taken by the operator as the fluid
moves inside the tanker it is important to remember that the centre of gravity of the machine changes. Wet ground may
also affect tanker stability.
It is advisable to drive up and down the slope as oppose to across the slope. Alpine tankers models have a centre of
gravity lowered by at least 100mm (depending on the model) compared to a standard LGP tanker. Therefore the Alpine
tankers are more suitable to operation on hilly ground.
