time you press the key, you will hear the number of the previous or next
bookmark and the book will play from the bookmarked position. Note that the
bookmark list is ordered by their position in the book not by the bookmark
number.
c) If the bookmark was an audio bookmark then its recorded message will
play before the book starts playing.
d) If you press the 4 key at the first bookmark, you will move to the
beginning of the book. Similarly, if you press the 6 key at the last bookmark,
you will move to the end of the book.
e) Press the * Key to exit from the Bookmark list. The browsing will be
cancelled and Victor Reader will return to the previous operation.

7.5. Remove a Bookmark

To remove a simple or audio bookmark, do the following:
a) Press the Bookmark Key 4 times or until you hear 'remove bookmark'.
b) Enter the number of the Bookmark you wish to remove.
c) Press the # Key to confirm.
If the number does not exist, Victor Reader will announce an error message,
the function will be cancelled automatically, and Victor Reader will return to
the previous operation. If the bookmark is an audio bookmark, an additional
prompt will request that you confirm its deletion. Press the # key again if you
are sure you want to delete the audio bookmark.
d) To cancel an operation in progress, press the * Key.
Note: To remove all the Bookmarks currently placed in a book, first press the
Bookmark Key 4 times or until you hear 'remove bookmark', then press Key
9 of the numeric keypad 5 times. Then press the # Key to confirm.
You can remove only the audio bookmark recordings using the Memory
Management Menu in the #7 key. This will remove only the audio recordings
to free up internal memory but keep the simple bookmark positions that were
attached to the audio bookmarks.

8. Menu - Configuration options

Pressing the number 7 key allows you to set configuration options for the
various recording functions. There are a number of menus to choose from,
including Recording Compression, Memory Management, and Date and Time.
Use the 2 and 8 keys to cycle through the menus, and the 4 and 6 keys to go
through the items of each menu. Press the Pound or Play keys to confirm
your selection. Press any other key to exit the Menu with no changes.
