The history is erased when you change the book, or when you turn the unit
off.
To access the history, do the following:
a) Press the History Key, Key 3 of the numeric keypad.
b) Press Key 4 or Key 6 to move from one element to the next. Each time
you press the key, you'll hear the history level and page number and play will
begin.
c) When you reach the desired element, press the # Key to confirm your
choice.
d) To cancel the operation in progress, press the * Key. Victor Reader will
return to the previous operation.
Note: The history contains positions for the current book. After switching
books with the bookshelf, the history will be empty.

4.5. Where am I?: Key 5

Pressing Key 5, the Where am I? Key, lets you know where you are in your
reading. Victor Reader will announce the page and the navigation element
level, followed by the title of the current section.

4.6. Menu: key 7

Pressing the number 7 key allows you to set configuration options for the
various recording functions. There are a number of menus to choose from,
including Recording Compression, Memory Management, and Date and Time.
Use the 2 and 8 keys to cycle through the menus, and the 4 and 6 keys to go
through the items of each menu. Press the Pound or Play keys to confirm
your selection. Press any other key to exit the Menu with no changes.

4.7. Sleep Mode: Key 9

The Sleep Mode Key lets you program a delay period, after which the unit will
shut down automatically. The maximum delay is 60 minutes.
To set the Sleep Mode, do the following:
a) Press the Sleep Mode Key, Key 9 of the numeric keypad. Victor Reader will
announce either the delay time before shut-down, or that the function is not
active.
b) Press the Sleep Mode Key again to program a shutdown delay of 15
minutes. Each additional time you press the key will add another 15 minutes,
