3.2 FLOW CHARACTERISTICS OF MASTERSTREAM 1000 SELECTABLE NOZZLE
The Masterstream 1000 Selectable Nozzle allows the user to select one of several orifi ce sizes by turning a knob at the front of
the nozzle. An indicator on the knob shows which fl ow has been selected. Figure 3.2 gives relationship of fl ow and pressure for
various orifi ce size.

The Masterstream 1000 Fixed Flow Nozzle is set to the desired fl ow by adjusting the baffl e and locking it in place with a jam nut.
The nozzle is adjusted and fl ow tested at the factory at time of order. If the baffl e is moved (for example to fl ush the nozzle), then the
baffl e must be readjusted to obtain the desired fl ow. Refer to Figure 3.2 for baffl e position to achieve a certain fl ow and pressure.
Figure 3.3 gives relationship of fl ow and pressure for various orifi ce sizes.
