8. Operation

8.1 Power supply
Connect your EL-Micro with the line adapter and connect it with the power supply. Please
make sure that you are using the correct voltage. False voltages could destroy the device. Ple-
ase use the voltage specified at the end of this manual. Don't focus the front of the laser on
people while installation.
8.2 Switch on / off
Set the switch on the back side of the laser on "1 On" to switch the device on or "4 Off" to
switch the device off. The auto mode is active when "1 On" is set. Please disconnect the device
from the power supply if you don't need it for a longer period.
8.3 Stroboflash
Set the switch on "2 Stroboflash" to activate the flash effect. The laser output will be interrup-
ted in certain intervals. Fine tuning will be made by the trim pots.
8.4 Voice Controller
The music mode is activ when "3 Voice Controller" is activated. Fine tuning will be made by
the trim pots.
8.5 Trim Pots
There are 3 trim pots on the back side of the device: "Voice Controller Stroboflash", "Auto
Stroboflash" and "Motor Speed Controller"
8.5.1 Voice Controller Stroboflash: If your device is in the music mode you can control the sen-
sivity of the micro with the trim pot "Voice Controller Stroboflash". So it is possible to adapt the
EL-Micro to the music or other sounds.
8.5.2 Auto Stroboflash: With the trim pot "Auto Stroboflash" you can set the speed of the flash
effect.
8.5.3 Motor Speed Controller: You can set the movement of the pattern of the laser effects with
the "Motor Speed Controller".
