Before starting work on the electrical supply ensure
z
power supply is isolated.
Isolate all appliances in the water from the electrical
z
supply before putting your hands in the water.
DO NOT allow the supply cord to contact hot
z
surfaces, including the motor shell, pump body or
pipework. The cord should be safely routed and
secured by cable clips.
This appliance must be earthed via the supply cord,
z
which must be correctly connected to the earth
point located in the terminal box.
The supply cord and internal wiring within the
z
terminal box are routed and secured to ensure
compliance with the electrical standard
EN 60335-1. It is essential that prior to any
disturbance of this internal wiring, all cable routing
and securing details are carefully noted to ensure
re-assembly to the same factory pattern is always
maintained.
Do not run the pump dry.
z
In the unlikely event of mechanical seal failure
z
pollution of the liquid could occur due to the leakage
of lubricants.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
z
Stuart Turner Ltd or an official Service Agent to avoid
hazard.
In order to avoid toppling over the appliance must
z
be placed on a smooth, level surface to fully support
the base of the tank. It must not be positioned solely
on beams/joists.
Inspect inside of tank for any debris and clean before
z
installing to avoid pumping foreign objects through
the water supply.
Please read installation details carefully as they are intended to ensure this product
provides long, trouble free service. Failure to install the unit in accordance with the
installation instructions will lead to invalidation of the warranty.
