MAX-AVP User Interface

Browse For Music

1. Press MAX to access the Main MAX Screen.
2. Highlight and select Music, then select Browse to access the Music Album Title Browse screen
(FIG. 22), to browse the entire list of CDs currently on the MAX server. Each entry in the Browse
list indicates the Album (title), Genre, and Artist for each CD.

3. Scroll through the list to highlight the CD that you want to play, and press SELECT to select the
title, and open the Music Details screen for that CD.
The Music Details screen displays detailed information on the movie. The options on the
Music Details screen are described in the Music Details Page section on page 40.
4. When the Music Details screen opens, select the Play button (see Music Details Page section on
page 40), and press SELECT to begin playback.
SELECT, ENTER or PLAY often share the same functionality. For example, with Play
selected on-screen, you would get the same results if you pressed either SELECT,
ENTER or PLAY on the remote controller.

Artist: This option allows you to browse CDs by artist name. See the Browse Music by
Artist section on page 38 for details.
Search: This option allows you to search for CDs by Title or Artist. See the Search For
Music section on page 39 for details.
You can sort the list by Album, Genre, or Artist by highlighting and selecting any one of the
column headings.
Use the SKIP/SCROLL (+ / -) buttons to page through large lists as opposed to scrolling
through each item in the list.
