MAX-AVP Remote Controller

Overview

The buttons on the MAX-AVP hand-held IR remote controller (FIG. 1) are described below:
Toggles standby ON/OFF,
stops playback if active
Toggles through slow motion
(forward only) modes: 1/2x ,
1/4x , 1/8x , Play (normal speed)
Invokes the Display Menu
Opens the DVD main menu

Remote

Toggles through fast-forward (+)
and fast-rewind (-) modes:
Begin/resume playback
chapter, title, none (DVD);
Alpha-numeric keypad
Note: Press ENTER or SELECT
Backspace in an alpha-numeric
Displays subtitles (if available)
Changes displayed angle
(if alternate angles are available)
Changes spoken language

Pause playback;
bring up MAX menu

Toggles repeat mode:
track, disk (CD)

Ejects the disc in the AVP
Clears all pop-ups
Pauses playback, and displays
information on currently
playing content (if known)
Opens the DVD Title menu
Navigation buttons
(up, down, left, right)
Press SELECT to select the
currently highlighted item
Note: The SELECT button is
functionally identical to the
ENTER button.
Returns to the previous screen
Skips to the next chapter
or track (+), or skip to the
previous (-) chapter or
track.
Note: These buttons also
allow you to scroll up/down
through lists in the MAX
User-Interface
Pauses playback;
if already paused,
step ahead one frame
Sets/clears A and B markers for
A-B repeat mode
Toggles between "shuffle"
(random) and normal
sequenced playback
Sends entered alpha-numeric
data ( can be used in place
of SELECT)
Sets a bookmark at the current
playback location
( remote DVDs only )
Displays a list of saved bookmarks
for currently playing media
( remote DVDs only )
Invokes the AVP Setup Page
