Proper preventive maintenance of the equipment preserves the operational safety and extends the life
of the equipment.
WARNING
When performing maintenance activities, always comply with the relevant safety regulations.
Wear the prescribed personal protection equipment.
7.1.1 Dangerous substances
WARNING
Used or leaked fluids, and any other products consumed during the activities, must be
collected and disposed of in an environmentally responsible way.

provide a specific maintenance schedule for you.

Maintenance activities

7.4.1 General
• Check the operation of the equipment.
• Check the equipment for damage and leaks. If the equipment does not work properly and/or leaks,
have it repaired by a Holmatro Certified Technician.
7.4.2 Hydraulic couplers
• Check the couplers for damage. Have a Holmatro Certified Technician replace damaged couplers.
• Clean the couplers with lukewarm water and a mild soap solution. Dry the couplers.
• Lubricate the end of the coupling with hydraulic oil, or inject with WD-40.
• Lubricate the locking ring by injecting WD-40 via the back under the locking ring.
• Connect the couplers.
• Check the locking by pulling the locking ring straight back. The couplers must not disconnect.
• Disconnect the couplers and then connect them again a few times. This improves the internal
lubrication of the locking system.
