For malfunctions or repair, always specify the model and serial number of the equipment.
NOTICE
If problems occur in the tool or pump please see the troubleshooting section in the manual of
the tool or pump used.
Because manifold valves are mostly used to control the operation of multiple cylinders, the
troubleshooting examples are related to problems which occur during the use of these
cylinders.
6.2 The system does not work or does not work correctly

Possible cause
The couplings are not connected correctly.
The pump does not build up the pressure.
6.3 The jack is not or partly extended
/i
Possible cause
There is air in the system.
The valve is not operating properly.
6.4 It is not possible to disconnect the couplers

Possible cause
There is still pressure in the system.
6.5 A single-acting cylinder does not return smoothly
/i
Possible cause
The motor / pump is still running.
6.6 The system does not get the required pressurized
/i
Possible cause
The switch of the M304 is in the wrong
position.
The throttle of the M304 is set incorrectly.

Maintenance

7.1 General
For standard installation instructions, refer to the Service & Support section of the Holmatro website.

Solution
Correctly connect the couplers.
Restart the pump with the valve in the release position.
Solution
Vent the hydraulic system, refer to manual of the tool.
Contact the Holmatro dealer
Solution
Relieve the pressure in the system, refer to section 4.3.2.
Solution
Switch the return valve and turn off the motor / pump.
Solution
Set the switch to the correct position.
Adjust the throttle of the M304.
