The ducts connecting to the outlets should be straight for a sufficient distance, with gradual transitions to the final duct size. These guidelines are consistent with SMACNA recommended duct layout practices for efficient and quiet air movement. -

OPERATION HE-Series Indoor 6.0 OPERATION 6.1 PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION The HE1XIN has one basic purpose: to exhaust air from a structure and bring in fresh air from outside, while transferring heating or cooling energy from the exhaust air to the fresh air. The HE1XIN is a very simple device, and will accomplish this purpose as long as the blower is able to move air through the enthalpic core. -
