125 – 16-WATT SIDE INDICATORS, OPTION UZB
Vehicles (shorter than 6 metres) are fitted with side indicators with 5 W bulbs as standard.
All complete vehicles with a total length of over six metres must be equipped with side marker lamps and
16 W side indicators in compliance with EU Directive 76 / 756 / EEC. Vehicles with this equipment have side
indicators and a special Passenger Compartment Control Unit (UCH). The side indicators are located at the
bottom of the door mirrors. For more information, see also Chapter 36.

Important: The indicators are not controlled by a flashing light unit but by the Passenger
Compartment Control Unit.
It is not possible to change from 5 W indicators to 16 W indicators, or vice versa, after
vehicle manufacture.
It is prohibited to fit indicators with more than 16 W power on the door mirrors.
