CAMERA SETUP
Camera Setup
The Camera Setup screens let you define the name and
termination settings for each camera. You must possess the Setup
Cameras privilege to access it (see

From the main screen, click the Setup button. The Setup
Options screen appears (see

Click the Cameras button. The Names screen (the first
Camera Setup screen) appears.
Use the Names screen to define the name of each camera. These
names are displayed when viewing live images and are stored in
the image database with recorded images.
1–8 — Use the mouse pointer to highlight one of the current
camera names. Then use the virtual keyboard or the physical
keyboard (if attached) to enter the new name, up to 10 characters.
The default names are Camera1 through Camera8. Cameras 9–
16 not used.
Click OK to accept the new camera names, as well as any changes
on the other Camera Setup screen. Click Cancel to cancel the
changes.
CAUTION: If you set the termination switch at 75 ohms, you
MUST select "Hi-Z" in the Intellex Setup Options screen.
If you select "75 ohms" in the Intellex Setup Options
screen, you MUST use the "infinity" symbol setting on the
termination switch (consult System Setup, Setup Options
Screen ).
When set to 75 Ohms, the unit terminates the camera. Selecting
Hi-Z is the same as removing a terminator from the camera. The
default is 75 Ohms.
Click OK to accept the new termination settings, as well as any
changes on the other Camera Setup screen. Click Cancel to
cancel the changes.
