SETUP AND OPERATION

Power supply
Before first use, check that the voltage of your socket corresponds to the
specifications on the rating plate.
Insert the DC plug of the AC adapter into the connector on the unit. When
the machine is connected to the power supply, it goes into standby mode.
Switch on
Press the VOLUME/POWER knob to turn it on. Internet radio will start first.
To turn it off, press the knob again. The display goes off.
Language selection
When the device starts for the first time, the system prompts you to set the
language and network configuration. You can set the network connection
immediately or later.
Setting the time and date
Select "12 off" for the 12-hour format and "24" for the 24-hour format. If you
have selected the 12-hour format, the screen displays "AM" in the morning
and "PM" after the time in the afternoon.
After you have made these settings, you have the following options for
synchronizing the time:
"Update from DAB, Update from FM, Update from Network or No Update..
• If you have selected "Update from network", you must enter the time
zone in which you are currently located in the next input window.
In the next step, set whether daylight saving time is currently active
("ON"). If not, select "OFF".
If you have selected "No update", you must enter the date and time
manually.
"AM" and "PM" are only displayed if you have selected the 12-hour
format. Select "AM" for morning and "PM" for afternoon.
Establish network connection
• You need a broadband connection in combination with a wireless
access point, router, or similar network device.
The network device must support a wireless (802.11 b/g/n) WLAN
connection.
Make sure that a WLAN connection is available and that you have the WEP,
WPA or WPA2 password ready to establish the connection. You can also
use WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) to make it easier to connect your network
