make sure your PPE is placed away from heat sources, humidity, corrosive atmosphere, ultraviolet rays, etc. and prevent
your PPE from any impact or excessive vibration.

BEFORE USE

Before each use, carry out a thorough visual examination to ensure that the PPE as well as any other equipment with
which it could be associated (connector, harness...) is complete. Make all necessary arrangements for emergency or any
rescue operations to be conducted in total safety. In the event that your product is damaged, consult the manufacturer
or the authorized agent. If you have any doubts regarding the safe condition of the product or if the product has been
used to arrest a fall, it is essential for your personal safety that the PPE is withdrawn from service and sent to the
manufacturer or a qualified repair centre for checking or disposal. Following examination, the centre will either deliver
or refuse a written authorization to reuse the PPE. It is strictly forbidden to modify or repair a PPE yourself. Only the
manufacturer or the repair centre is qualified to carry out repairs. If a complete system is supplied, it is prohibited to
replace the components.
Before each use, check the condition of the mobile fall arrester and the flexible anchor line. Check the following points
with care:
• Free movement of the brake lever and the spring returning the lever.
• Check the rope grab blocking function (Fig. 5)
• Check the rope grab locking function (Fig. 6)
• Check the condition of fall indicator on the braking lever (Fig.7).
• General appearance of the flexible anchor line; particularly, the extent of wear.
• Check the general appearance of the flexible anchor support; particularly, the extent of wear.
• Check for deterioration (tearing cracks, wear, burning, etc...).
• Correct operation of the carabiners
• Absence of signs of corrosion or deformation.
DO NOT USE THE DEVICE IF THE FALL INDICATOR IS CRACKED/DAMAGED OR MISSING (see Fig.7)!
