Do not use this equipment unless you are properly trained. 1.0 Purpose The Miller Adjustable Rope Lanyard is a fall protection accessory product/positioning device designed to allow linemen to bypass obstructions safely in pole climbing applications. -

Us er In stru ctio ns - Engli sh 3.0 Use Before each use, carefully inspect the device to ensure that it is in useable condition. (Refer to section 4.0.) Only trained and competent personnel should use this equipment. The Adjustable Rope Lanyard is intended for work positioning and restraint only and must be used with an approved Miller positioning and fall arrest system for pole climbing. -

Us er In stru ctio ns - Engli sh 3. Ensure that the secondary positioning system/rope adjuster is engaged and all connections are secure and in the closed/locked position. Then discon- nect the primary positioning and fall arrest system. Position the primary system above (or below) the obstruction and reconnect. -

Instructions D’utilisation - Français 3.0 Utilisation Avant chaque utilisation, inspectez soigneusement le dispositif pour vous assurer qu’il est utilisable. (Voir section 4.0.) Cet équipement doit être utilisé uniquement par du personnel formé à cet effet et compétent. La longe ajustable est prévue uniquement pour positionnement de travail et retenue et doit être utilisée avec un système de positionnement et d’arrêt de chute approuvé... -

Assurez-vous que le système de positionnement secondaire/ l’ajusteur de corde est engagé et que toutes les connexions sont établies avec sécurité et en position fermée/verrouillée. Puis déconnectez le système de positionnement et d’arrêt de chute primaire. Positionnez le système primaire au-dessus (ou au-dessous) de l’obstacle et reconnectez. -
