3-5-3. Adjust Component Y Level

1. Input the following Component Y signal to the
INPUT-A. Select COMPONENT from the INPUT-A
of the SET SETTING (Fig. 3-5-3-1).
2. Connect the Oscilloscope to the TP5317 of the C
board.
3. Enter the item OTHER of the menu Device Adjust.
4. Set 06 3D GAMMA/ THROUGH : 0 to 06 3D GAM-
MA/ THROUGH : 1.
5. Set 07 3D GAMMA/ SW : 1 to 07 3D GAMMA/ SW :
0.
6. Enter the item WB ADJUST HIGH.
7. Referring to Fig. 3-5-3-2, adjust the level of the part
100IRE using GAIN B of the following signal for the
value 6.6 ±0.05 V dc, then with BIAS B adjust the part
12.5 IRE for 3.5 ±0.05 V dc.
8. Connect the Oscilloscope to the TP5310 of the C
board.
9. Adjust GAIN G and BIAS G so that the part of each
100 IRE and 12.5 IRE of the signal shown in the right
will achieve 6.6 ±0.05 V dc and 3.5 ±0.05 V dc,
respectively.
10. Connect the Oscilloscope to the TP5317 of the C
board.
11. Adjust GAIN R and BIAS R so that the part of each
100 IRE and 12.5 IRE of the signal shown in the right
will achieve 6.6 ±0.05 V dc and 3.5 ±0.05 V dc,
respectively (See Fig. 3-5-3-2).
12. Select the item "SAVE TO MEMORY" of W/B
ADJUST of the menu. Press ENTER to save data.
13. Enter the item OTHER of the menu Device Adjust.
14. Give 06 3D GAMMA/ THROUGH : 1 back to 06 3D
GAMMA/ THROUGH : 0.
15. Give 07 3D GAMMA/ SW : 0 back to 07 3D GAM-
MA/ SW : 1.
16. Select the item SAVE TO MEMORY and press
ENTER to save data.

3-6. Adjust VIDEO W/B

3-6-1. W/B HIGH Mode Adjustments

1. Input the 15KHz Component Flat Field signal to the
INPUT-A. Then, select COMPONENT from INPUT-
A of the SET SETTING.
2. Set D.PICTURE of PICTURE CONTROL "OFF".
3. Set 06 3D GAMMA/THROUGH to 0 (LUTON).
4. Set 07 3D GAMMA/SW to 1(3Dγ ON).
5. Enter the menu item WB ADJUST HIGH.
6. After making sure of data R/G/B BIAS and GAIN
adjusted in advance, duplicate them to GAIN and
BIAS applied to the W/B LOW Mode Adjustments.
7. Input the 15 KHz Component Flat Field 80 IRE signal
to the INPUT-A.
8. Adjust the y value in the W/B HIGH G Gain. When
the X value inclusive of y value is bigger than the
specified, regard Blue as the referenced color.
To the contrary, when smaller, regard Red as the
referenced. Color temperature is to be adjusted to
satisfy with the follows in the GAIN other than such
referenced colors.
9. Input the Component flat field 30 IRE signal to the
INPUT-A.
10. On the BIAS other than the referenced color, adjust the
y value to get the following color temperature.
11. Have a tracking adjustment so that both 80 IRE and 30
IRE can satisfy the standard value.
12. Select the item "SAVE TO MEMORY" of W/B
ADJUST of the menu. Press ENTER to save data.
HIGH MODE Color Temperature Spec. :
(x, y)= (0.275, 0.312) ± 0.005 (80 IRE)
HIGH MODE Color Temperature Spec. :
(x, y)= (0.275, 0.312) ± 0.007 (30 IRE)
