Enter the FACTORY MODE in the following manner:
How to enter the FACTORY MODE:
1. Check that the STATUS in the MENU is ON.
2. Turn OFF the MENU.
3. Press the keys ENTER → ENTER → LEFT → ENTER ,
in this order.
4. <Do you wish to enter into the FACTORY MODE?> ap-
pears.
5. Select YES.

3-1. VCOM ADJUSTMENT

1. Input the green single-color 1H inverted signal to the IN-
PUT A.
2. Set both CONTRAST and BRIGHT to 50.
3. The G VCOM adjustment screen of the Device Adjust
appears.
4. Select the point at which the flicker is minimum.
5. Input the red and blue single-color 1H inverted signal,
respectively, and adjust R VCOM and B VCOM so that
the flicker will be a minimum.
6. Save the adjusted value.

3-2. SIGNAL LEVEL ADJUSTMENT

γ MODE : GRAPHICS
INPUT A : 10 steps
VIDEO : 100% COLOR BAR
Set CONTRAST to 80 and BRIGHT to 50 (RESET).
W/B : HIGH mode

3-2-1. RGB Level Adjustment

1. Adjust M52337 R, G, and B GAIN, as well as M52337
R, G, and B BIAS, so that the levels of TP5106, TP5105,
and TP5104 will be within the specification.
2. Save the adjusted value.

3. W/B: Copy the value in the LOW mode.

3-2-2. VIDEO Level Adjustment

1. Set the Contrast to 85.
2. Input NTSC FLAT FIELD 100 IRE to VIDEO.
3. Adjust CXA1839 CONTRAST so that the level of
TP5105 will be within the specification.
4. Input PAL FLAT FIELD 100 IRE to VIDEO.
5. Adjust CXA1839 CONTRAST so that the level of
TP5105 will be within the specification.
6. Save the adjusted value.
7. Return the Contrast back to 80.
8. Input Component FLAT FIELD 100 IRE to INPUT A.
9. Set the Contrast to 85.
10. Adjust CXA1839 CONTRAST so that the level of
TP5105 will be within the specification.
11. Save the adjusted value.
Adjust the COMPONENT input by inputting Y = 0.714
V ped ~ 100 IRE of the Beta-CAM and DVD
specifications.
12. Return the Contrast back to 80.
VIDEO LEVEL spec.
