3-6-2. Adjust W/B LOW Mode

1. Enter the menu item WB ADJUST LOW.
2. Make sure first that data of section 3-6-1.6 is already
been written in the R/G/B GAIN. BIAS.
3. Input the Component Flat Field 80 IRE signal to the
INPUT-A.
4. Adjust the y value in the W/B HIGH G Gain. When X
value inclusive of y value is bigger than the specific
value, regard Blue as the referenced color.
To the contrary, when smaller, regard Red as the
referenced. Color temperature is to be adjusted to
satisfy with the follows in the GAIN other than such
referenced colors.
5. Input the 15KHz Component Flat Field 30 IRE signal
to the INPUT-A.
6. On the BIAS other than the referenced color, adjust the
y value to get the following color temperature below.
7. Have a tracking adjustment so that both 80 IRE and 30
IRE can be within the standard value.
8. Select the item "SAVE TO MEMORY" of W/B
ADJUST of the menu. Press ENTER to save data.
9. Make D.PICTURE of PICTURE CONTROL "ON".
LOW MODE Color Temperature Spec. :
(x, y)= (0.283, 0.331) ± 0.005 (80 IRE)
LOW MODE Color Temperature Spec. :
(x, y)= (0.283, 0.331) ± 0.007 (30 IRE)

3-7. Calibration Adjustments

1. Input the FLAT FIELD 60IRE signal to the INPUT-A.
2. Select 21 CALIB of P.DRV and minimize the balance
of luminance between ODD and EVEN pixel.
3. Save the data by selecting the item " SAVE TO
MEMORY " in the page of Device adjust of the
Adjustments menu and by pressing the ENTER.
3-8. How to adjust at replacing a Prism
or an Optical Unit.
At replacing a Prism, follow the procedures as per the
methods written right here, and enter the Factory Mode so
as to adjust the follows ( See the Section 3-1-2. Factory
Mode).

3-8-1. VCOM Adjust

Look at the bottom of the Main Menu where you find
Device Menu.
Here in the Menu, select [P.DRV].
Adjust VCOM of [VCOM/R], [VCOM/G] and [VCOM/
B], respectively.
Entering the VCOM Adjust mode, you will find that the
screen shows a test pattern.
Then, try to minimize flickers in the screen.

3-8-2. Adjust Polarizing Plate

Press the " PIC MUTING " button.
As the screen turns fully black, manipulate each of the
polarizing plate of R, G, and B until to find Black most
sunk.
3-8-3. 3Dγ Overview
Refer to the principle mentioning next of 3Dγ before
advancing 3Dγ adjustments.
3Dγ consists of total 504 points which is figured out
multiplying brightness 8 points in the level, 9 points in the
horizon and 7 points in the vertical direction.
It has functions to enable individual adjust W/B in the light
of R, G, and B.
Accordingly, 504 x 3(RGB) = 1512 items is required in
order to complete full adjustments.
For convenience, however, this is replaceable provisionally
by the following methods.
The following layer tree is the [GAMMA] Menu.
To adjust each LEVEL, the internal signal (Flat Field) of a
LEVEL will be automatically shown.
