A.0 GUIDELINES
When using Thule Pods and Accessories, the user must understand the precautions. Please review the instructions and warranty
information carefully. Proper assembly and installation are the end user's responsibility and beyond Thule's control.
A.1 Read these instructions carefully. No guarantee will
be allowed for wrong installation.
A.2 Make sure all knobs, bolts, screws, straps, and locks
are firmly attached, tightened, and locked before
every trip. Knobs, blots, screws, straps and locks
must be periodically inspected for signs of wear,
corrosion, and fatigue.
A.3 Check your load at stops during the trip to insure
continued fastening security.
A.4 Remove your Thule accessories when they are not in
use and before moving or operating the vehicle.

SAFETY AND WARNINGS

B.1 Smooth sided RV's only
B.2 Use a stud finder to ensure that the mounting
location avoids all electrical, plumbing or gasoline.
Turn off all utilities before drilling.
B.3 Be aware of all exterior obstructions, like: heater
vent, wheel well, etc. prior to mounting Pods.
B.4 Be careful to just drill into the outer section
of the wall.

Beim Gebrauch von Thule Pods und Zubehören sollte der Gebraucher folgende Vorsichtsmaßnahmen treffen. Lesen Sie andächtig
die Instruktionen und Garantiebedingungen. Eine korrekte Montage und Benützung liegen in der Verantwortlichkeit des
Gebrauchers und nicht von Thule.
A.1 Lesen Sie die Montageanleitung sorgfältig
durch, da bei unsachgemäßer Montage der
Garantieanspruch erlischt.
A.2 Vergewisseren Sie sich vor jeder Fahrt , dass
alle Knöpfe, Bolzen, Schrauben, Haltebänder
und Schlösser gut befestigt, angespannen und
geschlossen sind. Bitte kontrollieren Sie in gewissen
Abständen alles auf Verschleiß, Korrosion und
Ermüdung. Kontrollieren Sie bei jeden Stop auf Ihre
Reise die gute Befestigung Ihrer Ladung.
A.3 Demontieren Sie Ihr Thule Zubehör wenn Sie nicht
in Gebrauch sind oder wenn Sie Ihr Fahrzeug
umstellen.

A.5 When installing or attaching Thule accessories, be
aware of existing heat sources, gas lines, water lines,
electrical lines, and other potential hazards installed
by the manufacturer.
A.6 Do not use Thule mounting points and accessories
for purposes other than those for which they were
designed. Do not exceed their carrying capacity.
Failure to follow these guidelines or the product's
instructions will void the warranty.
A.7 Consult your Thule dealer if you have any questions
regarding the installation, operation, or limits of
Thule products. Review all instructions and warranty
information carefully.
B.5 We recommend applying masking tape to the drill
bits to prevent drilling too deep.
B.6 Prepare mounting area by lightly sanding the
fiberglass between the drilled holes. Clean the
surface of the wall.
B.7 Do not mount any accessory onto the newly
installed Pod. The adhesive must cure for
24-48 hours.
A.4 Bei der Installation oder die Befestigung der
Thule Produkten achten Sie auf Hitzequellen,
Gasleitungen, Wasserleitungen, Elektrische
Leitungen oder andere Risikovolle Installationen des
Herstellers.
A.5 Nützen Sie die Thule Montagepünckte nicht
für andere Zwecke als die wovor Sie entwickelt
wurden. Achten Sie auf Überbelastung. Wenn die
Maßnahmen nicht respektieren entfällt die Garantie
des Produktes.
A.6 Beraten Sie sich bei Ihren Thule Händler betreffende
Installation, Funktion oder Beschränkungen des
Produktes. Überlesen Sie sorgfältig die Instruktionen
und Garantiebedingungen.
