3. PRODUCT OVERVIEW
3.5 BACKOFFICE CONNECTIONS
The Home Advanced | Renault Edition can be connected
to the NewMotion backoffice in two ways:
1. Ethernet connection
2. WiFi connection
3.5.1 HOME ADVANCED – ETHERNET & WIFI
Connecting the Home Advanced to an ethernet router or
WiFi bridge can be done by connecting the network to
the UTP Ethernet port with a cable lenght of maximum
50 meters.

Settings might have to be changed in the network to
allow the charge point to make a successful connection.
The network should have:
- DHCP
- Port TCP 80 and 443 should be opened
- FTP port 21 should be opened
- All opened ports should be inbound and outbound
For the configuration of the WiFi bridge, please read the
enclosed manual. Use a laptop to configure the bridge
or use the Tether Mobile app from TP-link.
